About Us

We offer students a small and friendly community environment where our thoroughly relevant teaching and research are designed to meet the changing needs of students, employers and society. We have widely recognised expertise in health & rehabilitation, sustainable business and creativity & culture. We have an enviable employment rate for graduates - 93.8% of them find work or go on to further study within six months of graduating (HESA July 2013) - putting QMU in joint 5th place out of 17 higher education institutions in Scotland with the joint 22nd highest score in the UK, out of 151 institutions. Our emphasis on vocational education means our courses are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of society. Whether you're in your teens or are returning to education after a long gap, we will endeavour to provide a supportive environment with enough flexibility to study around career, social and family commitments. We offers full-time, part-time and distance learning courses that can suit different lifestyles. Our staff are well aware of the demands of modern living and you will find them extremely approachable and supportive throughout your studies.
