You will study several units all focused on the film industry, including; analysis of film, British and American film, analysing the work of directors, studios and stars, international cinema and political debates, popular cinema and emotional response, screenwriting and film production and varieties of film.

Most A-Level film studies students progress to higher education studying degrees in media, cultural studies, journalism, English or communication studies. Several ex-students have gone on to become successful film journalists.
