The applied science major offers students an opportunity to create a customized, interdisciplinary program in the science and mathematics fields. Students combine course work from two traditional science majors for an interdisciplinary experience. Students frequently are interested in a 3-2 engineering program (completing three years of courses at Pacific, followed by two years in an engineering program at a partnering school). They also may be interested in teaching secondary math and science, or pursuing a job in the high-tech industry.
