As a student in the BBA/IS program, you will take courses from both the Lubin School of Business and the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, one of the first comprehensive computing schools in the country. Through this unique combination of world-class schools, you garner a deeper understanding of - and practical skills in - business telecommunications, information systems principles, and project management. The BBA in Information Systems offers: Essential business management skills in finance, accounting, marketing, business law, organizational development, statistics, and strategy A thorough understanding of systems and database management: Whether you become a systems analyst or assume another information role, you will need to understand system development, project management, and cost/benefit analysis Database management skills to understand the structure of a modern database system, and how it supports the strategic goals of an organization Facility with global data communication beyond the local network as you learn about the hardware, basic communications components, configurations, protocols, software, and networks and applications. Curriculum includes the global, economic, social, and ethical implications of data communications so you are well-prepared for the complex challenges of international business communications
