BA (Hons) Costume Design and Making

Course Description

You'll develop skills in source analysis, design research, development and realisation, 2D - 3D design, corsetry, pattern cutting, tailoring, millinery, wigs, tutus, costume props and puppets, fabric knowledge, print and dye work. This course is taught by a team of teaching professionals with extensive experience and practice in theatre, film, television and associated costume industries. You'll be encouraged to undertake work experience placements to gain experience and make contacts. Live industry projects and national and international design competitions will enhance your employability.
