Course Description

Course length: Three years full-time, four years with a placement. This course is ideal for those not wanting to specialise in any one area. It follows a broad curriculum, covering key business disciplines at all three levels. If, once you are here, you decide you would like to specialise in a specific area, you will have the opportunity to transfer to one of our Business Management Joint Honours degrees at the end of Year One. Why choose this course? This course will equip you with an understanding of business theory and practice in today's domestic and international business environments. It is a highly relevant course that covers a broad range of management functions, processes and techniques, making it an excellent gateway to a variety of careers. It will enable you to rise to the challenge of being a manager of the future. 94% of graduates are employed or engaged in further study six months after leaving (DLHE Survey 2013/14). The course can be studied over three years full-time or four years with a placement. Opportunities are available to study abroad while doing this course. Full-time students can choose to complete a short internship, study abroad, set up their own enterprise, or run a community project, during the second half of Year Two.
