Course length: 3 years full-time, 4 years sandwich. This joint honours programme allows you to study two subjects widening your career options working with children and families and understanding why and how we behave as we do. You will gain valuable real-world experience and skills through placements and projects, giving you a head-start in meeting the needs of graduate employers. The Early Years strand gives you the option to gain the professional Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).

You could have a placement in a wide variety of settings: industrial, retail, commercial and public sector. These could include: rural, inner city and suburban schools hospitals and health authorities manufacturing companies major sports clubs and grounds in Nottingham social services prisons local authorities. The course will also offer opportunities to become involved in a number of paid and voluntary schemes in the education, charity and voluntary sector, enhancing both your professional and personal development.
