Course Description

Geography allows you to see why and how the world is changing. It can enhance environmental awareness, problem solving, communication skills, IT literacy, numeracy and literacy. There is a strong emphasis on research and investigation in this course. • AS GEOGRAPHY World at Risk (Global hazards and climate change), Going Global (Globalisation/Population migration), Crowded Coasts, Re-branding Places (fieldwork/research/practical skills) • A2 GEOGRAPHY Energy Security, Water Conflicts, Biodiversity under Threat, Superpower Geographies, Bridging the Development Gap & The Technological Fix One option from: Tectonic Activity and Hazards or Life on the Margins: The Food Supply Problem.
