Career outcomes

The threat posed by the risk of climate change has prompted governments around the world to take action to significantly reduce carbon emissions, with buildings being a key target. The UK Government has set a target date of 2016 for new housing (domestic) developments and 2019 for new commercial (non-domestic) buildings to be zero carbon. This has led to an increased demand for Architectural Engineering graduates that is likely to continue to outstrip supply. Graduates are employed around the world with consulting engineers, architectural practices, contractors, public authorities and manufacturers. With this professionally accredited qualification, you will be able to register as a practicing engineer in all countries, providing you with the opportunity for a global career.
