This full time programme of study is designed to prepare you for further study in Applied Science and will also develop your Maths, English skills and Workskills too. Students that have successfully completed this course with a good grade may then be given the option to enrol on the Level 2 Science and Laboratory Skills course.

You could work in science based industries, in careers such as laboratory work, school technicians, medical technicians and analysts.
