This VET qualification provides the skills and knowledge in counselling and high level communication required to undertake work within the community services industry. Students are required to attend on-campus workshops which provide opportunities to put their skills into practice. On successful completion of this course, students are eligible for direct entry (equivalent to eight units) into second year of ACAP’s Bachelor of Applied Social Science or Bachelor of Psychological Science (with credit for eight out of 24 non-psychology units of study).
