Course Description

ACAP’s Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) (CHC52008) prepares students to work in case management and client support roles in the community services sector. Students gain the expertise and knowledge necessary to facilitate case management, assess and analyse client needs, communicate effectively with clients and staff, and support client self-management. Students are required to attend on-campus workshops which provide opportunities to put their skills into practice. On successful completion of this course, students are eligible for direct entry (equivalent to eight units) into second year of ACAP’s Bachelor of Counselling, Bachelor of Counselling (Coaching), Bachelor of Applied Social Science, Associate Degree of Applied Social Science or Bachelor of Psychological Science (with credit for eight out of 24 non-psychology units of study).
