Course Description

The Information Technology (IT) program at Mercy College is an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree program. The Information Technology AAS degree combines the basic theory of computer technology with hands-on experience with applications in IT. Students will receive basic education in PC hardware, database management, local area networks (LAN), VB.NET, web design, and Java. This can be a stepping stone to transfer into the Computer Information Systems baccalaureate program with as much as the 60 credits.
