Master of Networking (MNet)

Course Description

The Master of Networking (MNET) prepares graduates to take leadership in the design, management and maintenance of computer networks. The course knowledge and skills incorporate state of the art developments in networking, and the assessment, planning and evaluation of technologies and network services. The rapid technological advancements in recent times has resulted in network industries of high complexity, where applied research skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are paramount. The demand is expected to keep growing strongly. The Master of Networking (MNet) also aims to graduate professionals who want to update their knowledge and skills to reconsider their area of specialisation and/or expand commercially valuable opportunities. In addition to high-level skills in advanced networking and system design and administration, the course develops foundation skills in IT and Systems Analysis to give graduates the capabilities of systems professionals. Additional streams are available in Cyber Security or Business.
