The study and exploration of Art History is a foundational element of all of Maryville’s Art and Design programs. Those minoring in Art History not only enhance their degrees with a focused study of Art History and Archaeology, they have many opportunities to explore technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), close range photogrammetry, and aerial photography. As a potential component of an Art History Minor, Maryville students also have many study abroad options such as studying in Florence Italy, or participating in Archaeological surveys in Greece.
