Course Description

The field of communication is growing quickly, and there are many opportunities if you have the right education. After all, understanding how people communicate is a skill with unlimited applications in the world of work. With two different communication majors, Marietta offers you a broad selection of courses, new kinds of internships, and more career choices. The Communication Lab and Writing Center will assist you in developing your communication skills; the two radio stations, TV station, and newspaper will give you many opportunities to apply those skills. Communication Studies In our Communication Studies major, you'll learn to analyze audiences, develop arguments, prove ideas, and practice effective delivery methods through classroom lectures and discussions, as well as through real-world engagement in internships and forensics competitions.
