Course Description

Throughout your study with us you'll be offered a wealth of opportunities to study choreography, ballet and contemporary techniques, professional repertory and new dance works, reading and writing about dance, dance research, Labanotation, dance kinesiology and anatomy, dance-music relationship, dance film, dance facilitation, community dance, dance funding applications, improvisation, and dance history. Our Combined Honours programme allows you to study two subjects at degree level. You can combine Dance with: Abuse Studies Business Childhood and Youth Studies Drama English Enterprise Music Sociology Sport.

Career outcomes

Students regularly go on to successful careers in film, television and theatre and previous graduates have established careers as actors, dancers, directors, theatre crew, teachers, artistic directors of their own theatre companies and other arts professionals.
