BA/BSc Combined Honours Crime Studies

Course Description

This programme will encourage you to develop critical and analytical skills enabling you to appreciate the society in which you live and how crime and social justice agencies influence the individual and society. The programme offers you an opportunity to study two subjects at degree level, enabling you to benefit from high quality teaching across different courses. In Year 3 you can take all your units in Crime Studies to graduate with BA (Hons) Crime Studies as your award title. You can combine Crime Studies with: Abuse Studies Business Childhood and Family Drama Education Studies Film and Television Studies Outdoor Studies Philosophy Psychology Sociology Sport Development Youth and Community. Placement options In your final year, you have option to choose between the Dissertation or the Applied Professional Practice Unit. The applied Professional Practice Unit offers greater engagement with relevant professional practice for students who wish to develop their employability skills in a supported and academic.
