Course Description

Finance is the study of the management of money, banking, investment and credit. It involves financial organisations, markets and instruments, their effect on the flow of funds within the economy and the control of risk. Accounting is the collection, measurement and communication of economic information which is used for planning, reporting and decision making. This double degree is designed to give you practical financial skills and the ability to apply them in accounting focused careers. In this program you'll study economics and accounting principles, systems, management and reporting. In your final years you will study corporate accounting and reporting, auditing and assurance, corporations and revenue law and further accounting electives.
