The recent growth in online services and the digitisation of many sectors of the economy have fuelled an unprecedented demand for IT and multimedia experts. Graduates who successfully complete this course can find career openings in: internet applications or systems development; management of internet technologies or IT projects; computer sales support; database administration; web development/multimedia programming; and teaching. Alternatively, you may wish to further your studies at postgraduate level; the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences offers five masters programmes, as well as a number of postgraduate research programmes. Our World of Work Programme offers you the chance to get an additional certificate proving to potential employers that you have the skills and experience they are looking for in their graduate recruits. The programme has been developed in partnership with FTSE 100 companies and leading business organisations including: Barclays, United Utilities, Airbus, Tate, Oxfam, Siemens, the BBC, Ford, Sony, Marks and Spencer, and the NHS.
