Course Description

The E-Business program is designed for students with a strong interest in computer science and business management, combines commerce and computer science. Commerce courses provide the student with a solid foundation in marketing management, financial management, accounting, human resource management, operations management, project management and organizational strategy, while the computer science courses cover the essentials in programming, networking, database design and management, current enterprise and web software applications and software engineering. • The four year program leads to an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and Computer Science (HBCCS) • The first two years of the program introduce economics, management of organizations, understanding financial information, accounting, business statistics, management science, financial management from commerce and high-level programming language, discrete mathematical structures, introduction to e-commerce, data structures, database programming, and internet tools in computer science. • Upper year courses cover marketing management, organizational behavior, operations management, strategy management, project management from commerce and enterprise application software, systems analysis, computer networks, database management systems, and human computer interaction from computer science. • A summer internship is available after the third year of program.
