Located on Lancaster University’s green parkland campus, Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) combines the passion for knowledge and ideas you would expect of one of the UK’s top research-led business schools with the distinctive human qualities of a supportive and vibrant community. Since the University’s founding over 40 years ago, LUMS faculty and students have worked at the boundaries of knowledge and practice, challenging conventional wisdom and contributing to future best practice. The faculty is rated second to none in the UK, whilst our graduates are influential in every sector and every country around the world. Lancaster University Management School won the inaugural Business School of the Year award in the Times Higher Education awards 2012. LUMS is a diverse school, combining both general and specialist undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes in business, management, accounting, finance and economics, with a large doctoral programme. We also deliver innovative customised executive and leadership education for large organisations around the world, in addition to bespoke services for SMEs in England’s North West and beyond. The learning and living environment at Lancaster is excellent. LUMS benefited from the completion of the £10m Lancaster Leadership Centre in 2005, and a second £10m facility, the Charles Carter Building, in 2011. These striking new buildings are part of a £200m transformation of Lancaster’s campus that few UK universities can match.
