This course is designed to develop highly individual approaches to the creation of communicative images for print and interactive and moving image. Students from this degree have consistently produced internationally recognised, award-winning illustration and animation.

Graduates of this course are employed worldwide, mainly as freelance illustration and image makers commissioned by magazines and newspapers; publishers of non-fiction, fiction and children's books; film and television production companies; and by advertising and design groups. Many pursue careers in animation, games, multimedia, special effects and design for film and TV. Others pursue postgraduate study in either the UK or overseas before starting their careers.
