Course Details

Master of Public Health (MPH)

Course Description

The full-time format is a concentrated 11-month course of study that begins in late June/early July each year at the East Baltimore campus. Students complete the degree in one academic year (July-May) by enrolling in five 8-week academic terms. Most, if not all courses will be completed on-site at the East Baltimore campus but students may also choose to enroll in online course offerings during the year. In addition to completing the MPH core curriculum, students can choose to complete their elective courses either through a customized program of study or by pursuing one of ten multidisciplinary concentration areas depending upon their individual goals and interests. The core curriculum comprises around 40% of the coursework, thus more than half of the courses needed for degree completion can be electives.
