The department is located in John Carroll’s flagship building, the Dolan Center for Science and Technology, equipped with modern laboratory and other facilities for hands-on learning and research for students preparing for careers in chemistry, biochemistry, medicine, biotechnology, and other fields. Recent graduates have gone on to graduate study in chemistry, biochemistry, medicine, dentistry, law, pharmacy, and forensic science. Others have gone directly into the workforce in chemistry and allied fields.
