The Electrical Technology Program is a curriculum designed to teach courses in basic electricity, solid state devices, basic wiring, transformers, fluid power, national electric code, motor controls, programmable logic controls, ac/dc drives, industrial robotics, technical communications and mathematics. The course is deigned not only for training beginners, but also for training electricians currently employed in the field. The mission of the Electrical Technology Program is to provide certificate and associates degree programs that provide theoretical and experiential courses that prepare students for employment, workplace advancement, and/or personal enrichment.

Graduates of the Electrical Program may become employed as an Industrial Electrician, Control Technician, Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician, Instrumentation Technician, PLC Programmer or Industrial Electrical Inspector.
