Adventure tourism has become one of the fastest growing sectors of the tourism industry. The number of adventure tourism providers both nationally and internationally has grown phenomenally as tourists seek unique travel experiences. This course familiarises students with the adventure tourism industry together with the development of relevant business and management skills. It includes adventure activity leadership and outdoor learning, the adventure tourism industry, communication and personal development, entrepreneurship and business management, event management and research.

This course includes additional practical qualifications (i.e. instructor qualifications, first aid, leave no trace, child protection) which add to graduates employability.
