Students in the sequence develop an understanding of communication and perceptual theory, typography, 2D and 4D composition and design history; as well as image making, design methodologies, information design, branding and design for multicultural audiences. The cohesive sequencing of courses allows our students to build skills and knowledge upon a strong fundamental core. Through each subsequent course, they strive to create work that successfully utilizes type, image, technology, and form to create beautiful and effective visual communications. With a focus on creative problem-solving skills, typography, and image creation, our students create posters, business stationery, websites, packaging, publications, mobile apps, logos and more.
