The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education is an innovative and contemporary degree. It is both responsive to industry needs and forward thinking in terms of its focus on the development of scholarship, professional teaching practice and leaders in early childhood education.

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education prepares students as specialists in the education of children from birth to eight years. Graduates will be qualified early childhood teachers, eligible for Victorian Institute of Teaching registration and employment as primary school teachers in Victoria. Graduates will also be qualified to teach in licensed early childhood settings in Victoria, including kindergartens. Graduates wishing to teach interstate or overseas are advised to check registration requirements with local authorities.
