Holborn College was established in 1969 to prepare ambitious young lawyers from overseas for the University of London International Programme LLB exams. At the time, there was no specialist law teaching for international students, so Holborn Law Tutors, as the college was then known, quickly built a strong reputation for its expertise. Almost forty years later, Holborn College has become the established market leader for students looking for great value undergraduate and postgraduate law and business degrees in London. In 2005 the college became part of Kaplan Inc. which is one of the world's largest international private education providers. Wholly owned by the Washington Post Company, Kaplan provides education and training to a million students across 30 countries every year. We now teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from Anglia Ruskin University, the University of Wales, the University of London International Programmes and the University of the West of England. Two principles set down in 1969 remain key to our success today. Firstly, the college is truly international in its make-up, with a lively student body made up of over 80 nationalities. In coming to Holborn College, you will become a resident in one of the world’s greatest cities which, in today’s global marketplace, will be an invaluable experience. Secondly, the college’s warm and friendly atmosphere means you will be able to make the most of your talent, your ambition and your career plan.
