The equine industry is a diverse and exciting place to work. The British Horse Industry Confederation report that almost 270,000 people work in the equine industry and it is worth £7 billion a year. There is no better place to develop your career in this fast growing and challenging industry than UWE Hartpury, which is one of the largest and most respected equine education centres in the UK. This one year programme aims to provide students to ‘top-up’ their qualifications to honours degree. The programme aims to provide a balance of science and business related modules, which will enhance students’ employment options after graduation. Whilst studying you will also benefit from access to our Animal Science Laboratories, the Hartpury Yard and Therapy Centre, a variety of horses, experienced lecturers & researchers, and a dedicated supportive year tutor.
