Course Description

The public perception of agriculture and food production is vitally important as the range of products available continues to grow and consumers become more discerning in what they buy. Appropriate marketing of agricultural products and food in all sectors of the supply chain, from ‘farm to fork’, is essential to maximise farm profitability. This course is designed to produce marketing professionals with a strong background in agricultural production. Students complete a general first year, with an emphasis on production agriculture, before opting to study more specialist marketing modules.
