You will learn from internationally renowned experts through hands-on, laboratory-based experience in state-of-the-art facilities. You will study the biological, biochemical and psychological aspects of health science and gain a firm grounding in chemistry, biology, anatomy, genetics, physiology, biochemistry, nutrition, microbiology, and health management. You will also learn about the ethical and legal aspects of health and health psychology.

You will be prepared to work as a scientific advisor, allied health worker, pathology technician, industry representative, technical sales, laboratory technician or research assistant. You will find opportunities in the public service, industry and research. This degree can provide a foundation for postgraduate application to medicine, or other postgraduate allied health degrees. You will also be eligible to apply for entry to a graduate entry teacher preparation program.
