Classics is the study of ancient Greece and Rome - among the world's most exciting, important, and influential civilizations. Program Offerings at Grand Valley The classics program embraces the many aspects of the Greek and Roman world - including the Greek and Latin languages, mythology, archaeology, history, and philosophy - from prehistory to the late Roman Empire and early Christianity.
