The Specialist in Educational Leadership designed to further develop leaders for school or system-level administrative positions. You will build your knowledge and skill level not only through course work but through a year-long Residency (performance-based internship). The Residency is guided cooperatively by the University and the school/district partner. Upon completion of all Ed.S. Educational Leadership requirements, you will be eligible for the Renewable Level-6 Certificate in Leadership. If you wish to gain leadership certification, but who do not wish to earn a Specialist degree you can enroll using the Non-Degree PL-6 Certification-Only option. Upon completion of all Non-Degree PL-6 requirements, you will be eligible for the Renewable Level-6 Certificate in Leadership.
