Art and Design (Fine Art) A Level If you want to work with a variety of art techniques - e.g. painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, film or animation - this is the course for you. You`ll have plenty of opportunity to develop your own personal responses to ideas, observations, experiences, environments and cultures.

Completion of the AS and A2 qualifications will earn you ‘points` to progress on to higher education both outside and inside the disciplines of art and design. If you wish to progress on to a possible career in art and design one year’s study on a Foundation Degree in Art and Design is recommended. Additionally, you can progress directly to employment, seeing your experience and qualifications in art and design as contributing to a broader, richer education.
