Anthropology with Foundation BA

Course Description

The course contains a number of core and discipline-specific modules. Core modules such as English, Maths, Key Skills, and Language for Higher Education are designed to develop higher level learning skills and familiarise students with studying and assessment at degree level. Discipline-specific modules help lay a foundation of knowledge that students will build upon as they progress to their chosen degree courses. Foundation Centre (Year 0) The following list outlines some examples of the core and discipline-specific modules delivered by the Foundation Centre: * Foundations of Statistics * Discovering Anthropology * Foundations of Psychology * Human Health and Disease * Extended Research * Studying Social Life (for Social Sciences) * Academic Practice for Social Sciences * Biology of the Environment. Years 1, 2 and 3 As per years one, two and three of L602 BA Anthropology. *Foundation Year is taught at Queen’s Campus, thereafter degree programme is taught in Durham City.
