Course Description

The Bachelor of Applied Computer Science (formely Informatics) at Dalhousie University is an applied program of study that graduates leaders with a deep understanding of how to develop, manage, and deploy technology so that organizations can achieve their goals. Students - many of whom have never coded before - not only develop programming skills, but also learn how to design, manage and deploy complex technologies within organizations. The focus in this degree is on problem solving, applied computing and management skills, rather than on mathematical modeling or theory.
