Learn the judgment and technical skills needed for external financial reporting and developing internal information used for management planning and control. Graduates may pursue careers in the accounting department of a specific company, or in a professional services (public accounting) firm. Accounting majors will often continue their studies after graduation and complete a professional designation (CA, CMA or CGA). Courses taken at Dalhousie earn exemptions from these professional associations.
