Career outcomes

Join the roll call of our graduates who have won 27 Royal Television Society Awards and have gone on to work for among others; BBC Productions, MTV (Berlin), ITV Productions, Company Pictures, Planet 24, Nickelodeon, Ridley Scott Associates and Independent Productions. This course is designed to give you all the relevant skills in the production of both film and television artefacts. The course covers the technical and academic sides of production although there is a weighting towards production. Our facilities allow you to experience most of the production contexts in which you will work. This is a vibrant, practical course that allows you to develop your creativity in whichever area you wish to specialise. The course team includes practising professionals as well as visiting practitioners representing a wide range of production areas. Film and Television Production students ran acoustic sessions for performers at the 2013 Kendal Calling music festival, using the skills they have learned on the course to produce a series of 'Lakeside Sessions' films published on the festival's website and social media channels.
