This course is for young people who are interested in a career in the construction industry. It provides a taster of a range of different construction craft topics such as Painting and Decorating, Plastering Tiling and Brickwork.During the length of the course you will learn about plastering, painting Brickwork and Tiling, understanding basic setting out and sub floor and wall preparation techniques in practical and theory sessions. You’ll also learn about health and safety on construction sites and how important it is. Other key aspects of the course are communicating with other people and learning about numeracy and literacy skills to prepare you for a life in construction.

After successfully completing this course you could advance onto the Level 2 diploma or you could apply for an apprenticeship in your chosen trade.
