The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (B.S.C.J.) prepares graduates by providing a strong foundation in the criminal justice system and in factors impacting criminal behavior. As a B.S.C.J. student, you will learn how to: Critically analyze social, psychological, and economic explanations for criminal behavior Examine stages in the criminal justice process Evaluate contemporary issues in criminal justice through research-based methods Examine management and leadership principles applicable to criminal justice settings Analyze ethical standards of criminal investigation and prosecution Assess causes and patterns of criminal behavior among diverse populations Participate productively in the criminal justice field.
