The new MSc Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care (Nursing) course is aimed at nurses early on in their careers looking to develop their overall nursing practice and theory with a view to growing into advanced practitioner or leadership and management roles. This Advanced Practice Nursing course will help you develop your nursing practice at an advanced level, and develop your leadership, management and research skills to improve health care provision.

As a graduate you will be able to influence nursing practice at both a direct and indirect level through the development and enhancement of services and the application of research to your nursing practice. The programme will prepare you for a more senior position and will support your preparation for nurse practitioner, care manager, nurse consultant or clinical leadership roles.
