If you are interested in a career within the health sector such as nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy etc, then the BTEC 90 Diploma Health Studies could be for you. It will give you an A level and a half equivalent, vocational work experience and will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to progress to employment or higher education. Successful completion of year 1 will lead to second year and the full BTEC Extended Diploma in Health Studies (equivalent to 3 A Levels). Successful completion of Year 1 will lead to Year 2 and the BTEC Extended Diploma in Health Qualification

After you complete the course, you could progress to: * Degree courses in related areas such as Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Radiography * Employment/further training in the healthcare professions.
