This course is studied over 15 hours a week. The Access course is a nationally recognised course for adult students (aged 19 or over). It is designed to provide adults with the skills, knowledge and confidence they require to progress onto Degrees and Diplomas in Higher Education in a broad range of academic and vocational subjects. The course has excellent links with all local providers of Higher Education and Universities nationally. There are a range of career pathways that you can follow as part of the Access programme. These can include: Access to business, legal and language studies Access to combined studies Access to education studies and early years professions Access to health, social care and professional practice Access to science, engineering and computing Access to social sciences and humanities

Excellent and well established progression routes are available into local and national Degree, Diploma, HND, HNC and Foundation Degree courses.
