This course has been designed by City & Guilds to support progression within the construction sector. It builds on students experience within construction enabling the student to develop and practise their skills required to progress either into employment or further study. SCQF level 4/5 Subjects Include Introducing cabinet making skills Introducing levelling in construction Developing bench joinery skills Developing partitioning skils Developing hand plane skills Site placement Employability skills Introduction to construction On successful completion students will achieve: City and Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Basic Construction Skills.
