Course Description

The Construction Project Management program is designed to meet the current and projected needs of the increasingly specialized construction industry. Upon graduation students will be able to knowledgeably function within and plan the construction project management process, in multidisciplinary teams which could consist of project managers, architects, engineers, regulators, environmental consultants, contractors, and construction professionals. Over the 2015 - 2022 period, residential home builders and reno vators are expected to experience a labour shortage in this field. Strong growth in the non - residential construction sector is expected to support the demand for these professionals. The profession is becoming more complex due to changing standards and tec hnologies. Workers must keep abreast of New construction practices and become familiar with green or sustainable building techniques.
