California Baptist University’s School of Behavioral Sciences created the Christian behavioral science major to address the relationship of biblical truth to the knowledge drawn from the behavioral sciences, providing students with a distinct and decidedly Christian perspective of human behavior. CBU Christian behavioral sciences students pursue a historical and contemporary knowledge of the behavioral sciences and acquire the skills necessary for the direct application of that knowledge in ministry contexts. Students enjoy the instruction and guidance of expert Christian professors who themselves have years of practical experience in various fields of study including psychology, anthropology, sociology, political science and theology.

Upon completing CBU's undergraduate Christian behavioral sciences program, you will be well prepared for careers in counseling, social work, ministry work, marketing and many other job opportunities that call for a deep understanding of the human mind. Furthermore, you will be fully prepared to pursue graduate coursework, such as CBU's popular master's programs in professional psychology and church-based counseling.
