This course will provide you with the opportunity to develop your interest, confidence and skills in art and design. During the year you will build up a portfolio of work that will include examples of drawing, multimedia,contextual studies, and graphic design. Both traditional and digital media will be explored. You will require a portfolio of work demonstrating suitable ability. The course includes educational visits to galleries, museums and exhibitions and you should also be prepared to purchase art materials to help you create your Art & Design work. This course is equivalent to 4 GCSEs.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Art & Design (will also need GCSE English Language) or employment.
