Course Description

Are you interested in a medical career? This program has been developed for students who want to continue their studies in medicine, physiotherapy, and other health and medical professions. What is unique about Medical Sciences at Brock? Course components have been designed to meet the entrance requirements of all major North American medical schools and to prepare you to become an effective clinician. Brock’s BSc Medical Sciences degree is well-recognized by Ontario medical schools. Brock’s program offers courses on the biophysical foundation of health, in areas such as anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and biology, with a focus on the human and social aspects of health. The program is unique in including advanced courses such as clinical epidemiology, pharmacology, and pathology at the undergraduate level. Opportunities exist to work as a research assistant, participate in internships, and in faculty supervised independent studies.
